I swear to all that's holy, if my work is deleted once more there will be a reckoning.

Final Fantasy VII
The RPG that started it all for the PlayStation. Prior to 1997, the PlayStation was virtually unknown, to only the homeboys in the underground. When this maw fucka hit, legions of those already affiliated with the Final Fantasy legacy bought on soley for that games. But when they had it they realized that is kicked the asses. It's gameplay and graphic style were nothing short of revolutionary. It's story, however, was (and still is) considered by many the zenith of RPG's. I give this game my highest possible rating (despite my lack of a rating system as of yet). For a classical view: the game has the reluctant hero; the tragic love; the struggle against the corruption of today, and the doom of tomorrow; and the realization of destiny. Not exactly the common view of a 'Saturday time-killer', wouldn't ya say?

Final Fantasy IX

Legend Of Dragoon
This game was slated to de-throne the SquareSoft Final Fantasy series. Wow that didn't happen. Sony, while well meaning, suceeded in making nothing but the template for every goddamn RPG out there. There's Dart, the reluctant hero, whose home-town is burned down by the head soldier of a globally threatening and dominating villain. He teams up with the his sagacious martial arts instructor, and the sweent, innocent female friend from his childhood. Over a few hours, a ragtag groups of heroes who can change into the legendary "Dragoons", which are humans imbued with the powers of dragons, assemble and try to stop said villain from attaining the elemental crystals, and so on and so on and so on. Seriously, what the ass? Are gamemakers even trying for innovation anymore? This shit could fly in 1994, but Jesus. Anyway, the other problem the game had was the translation. While it was syntactically correctly translated from Japanese, it ended up sounding mechanical and non-fluid. However, Sony still produced a solid game worth my time. At this point, it's worth the few bucks you can pick it for used, or you can ask Adam if you can borrow his.

HAHA! its funny cuz there wont be a "reckoning"

It's funny 'cause you didn't leave your name.
Could it be 'cause you fear that reckoning...?
